What quick whole foods breakfast ideas work for busy mornings?
#1
I’ve been trying to eat more whole foods and cut out processed stuff, but I keep hitting a wall with breakfast. My usual yogurt has a bunch of additives, and even my bread has ingredients I can’t pronounce. How do you actually manage a whole foods diet when you’re short on time in the morning?

I started batch prepping the night before: a jar with oats, chia, a splash of milk, a spoon of yogurt, and berries on top. In the morning I just grab it and go. It feels like real food rather than a sugar rush, and it keeps me full till late morning.

I swapped bakery bread for a small loaf from a local bakery with simple ingredients and usually have hard boiled eggs ready in the fridge. Toast with avocado or peanut butter feels solid and avoids long ingredient lists.

Is the real hill the morning rush itself, or the habit of reaching for something quick that isn’t real food?

I once tried making a big batch of egg muffins on Sunday, but I forgot them in the fridge and ended up with soggy cups. It felt like a failure and I stopped. Now I just do hard boiled eggs in a pinch and fruit.
