I’m trying to plan a two-week trip to Japan and feeling completely overwhelmed by the rail pass options. I’ve heard the JR Pass price increased a lot, but I’m still trying to figure out if a national pass or a couple of regional ones would actually save money for my specific route between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kanazawa.
