What's driving my car insurance up with no claims or tickets?

I just got a notice that my car insurance premium is going up significantly this year, and I haven’t had any claims or tickets. I’m trying to figure out if this is just the normal rate creep everyone talks about, or if there’s something specific on my driving record or credit report that’s causing it.

Yeah rate creep is real. I had nothing on my record and no claims, but my renewal jumped anyway. They blamed inflation and new risk models, not me.

I pulled my driving history and my credit report after the notice, and there wasn’t a big red flag, just small shifts that didn’t match the size of the bump.

Do you notice any changes in your coverage like higher deductibles or added protections? Sometimes those can push the number up even without a ticket.

I tried shopping around a bit; one company gave a lower base rate but jacked it up later, so I stayed with the old carrier and crossed fingers.
