What should i choose between old gear and the new tier set in the expansion?

I’ve been playing the new expansion and I’m honestly stuck on whether to keep using my old gear or finally commit to the new tier set. The bonuses look good on paper, but actually getting the full set feels like it’ll take forever with my raid schedule.

I swapped two slots to test it and logged a tiny DPS bump, nothing earth-shaking. It felt nice to feel the difference, but it didn't feel worth the time sink yet.

A buddy says the set shines in big AoE bursts, but in our raid it's mostly single targets. Not sure if that means it's worth it.

I tried planning around it, mapped out a 6-8 week grind, then realized our raid slots might not align with free evenings. I abandoned the plan and just kept playing the old stuff for now.
