What should I do after Face Discoloration Fix to fix skin tone in Skyrim SE?
#1
I’m trying to make a custom follower for Skyrim SE and I’ve hit a wall with getting their face to look right in-game compared to the Creation Kit preview. I used the **Face Discoloration Fix** but now the skin tone seems washed out under certain lighting. Has anyone else run into this after applying the fix and found a reliable next step?

Yeah, I ran into that. The CK preview looks warmer, but in game the face reads washed out under some lights.

I used Face Discoloration Fix and the skin tone got washed out under certain lighting. I ended up removing that mod and sticking to a lighter skin texture, which helped a bit.

Could the real culprit be the lighting itself, not the textures? I spent days chasing tweaks and it turned out the ambient HDR in my setup was the real driver.

I also tried a warmer ENB preset and a different shadow distance, and the look drifted from scene to scene.
