What should I do after finishing Elden Ring to try a different build?

I just finished the main story of Elden Ring and I'm honestly not sure what to do next. I loved the world but I feel like I barely scratched the surface, and the idea of just starting a completely new character for a different build seems a bit daunting right now.

I finished the game and wandered back into the world, poking at optional bosses I skipped. those small moments reminded me the place keeps breathing even after the credits.

I kept drifting into a random ruin trying to chase a gimmick, almost forgot why I went there. turned out the mystery was me wandering and letting the game lead. maybe the next step is just letting the world show you a road rather than forcing a plan.
