What should i do if therapy feels stuck after six months?

I’ve been in therapy for about six months now, and I’m starting to feel like I’m just going in circles talking about my week. I’m not sure if this is just a normal phase or if it means the process isn’t working for me anymore.

I get how that feels. It can seem like you are spinning and not moving forward but that does not mean the work is bad.

I tried a tiny experiment after a few sessions I wrote one sentence about what moved me that week. It did not fix everything but it helped me see patterns.

Sometimes I drifted away from the topic and then came back to it slowly. It felt like chasing a moving target and I did not know if that was the point.
