What should i do to adapt my main build after the season patch crafting changes?

I just saw the patch notes for the new season and the changes to the crafting system seem really drastic. I'm trying to figure out if my main build is even viable now, or if I need to completely rethink my approach to resource gathering.

I dug into the patch notes and tried to run my main build anyway. the new crafting rules hit the mats economy hard, and I felt like I needed twice as many of the new components just to keep a marginal edge. I swapped a couple of slots to cheaper parts and kept rotating as before, but inventory juggling and extra farm trips killed the flow I had last season. It’s less about pure damage and more about how you source and convert resources now.

One concrete experiment I did: two runs with the same dungeon, same fights, same timing, but I burned through mats that would have lasted a whole day before. Drops felt stingy, and I had to lean on a different resource line to finish milestones. My DPS was still okay, but the cost to maintain it was the blocker.

Is it possible the issue isn’t the crafting at all but the scaling or rotation changes that came with the patch? Maybe the real bottleneck is a different bottleneck.

I did a quick test with a stripped down build that avoids the new mats entirely, and it cleared some content but felt underpowered for endgame stuff. Not sure if that proves much, but it gave me a baseline.
