What should i include in discussion of my biology lab report on enzyme rates?

I’m really stuck on how to approach this lab report for my biology class. The experiment was on enzyme reaction rates, and I’ve got all my data, but I’m unsure how to structure the discussion section to properly highlight the key findings.

I usually open the discussion by stating the main finding in simple terms and then why it matters for how the enzyme behaves. I avoid repeating the methods here and instead tie the numbers to the idea that the rate changes with substrate level and the conditions you tested.

From my lab notes, a practical approach is to walk through each key result and give a quick interpretation in plain language, then say what this implies about the enzyme behavior without claiming certainty.

Do you think the real issue is that the main effect you saw is due to substrate binding rather than enzyme stability?

I once drafted too quickly and ended up with a messy paragraph about limitations that didn’t land. This year I try to jot a short note about limitations and one sentence on future directions so the discussion doesn’t drift.
