What should I know about how persistent world events work in Project Chimera?

I just saw the leaked gameplay loop for Project Chimera, and honestly, the whole "persistent world events" system has me a bit confused. It sounds like if I miss the initial window to stop a faction invasion, that change to the map becomes permanent for my server, which feels like a ton of pressure to always be online.

Yeah, that pressure is real. In a test run I watched a faction event window slip by and the map changed anyway. After that the invasion markers stayed for days, which made people constantly check the clock rather than play.

I did try coordinating with a small crew to hit an event window during raid night. We managed once, but several times we missed and the map change stuck for the rest of the week. It felt punishing for casual players.

Is it really permanent or does it reset on a weekly cycle? The UI hint didn't clear it up for us.

I keep thinking maybe the real issue is that the system assumes you can be online all the time. I tried muting alerts to avoid the nag, but then you still worry you missed something.
