I just got a PS5 and I'm trying to decide which version of a game to buy when it's available on both PS4 and PS5. The PS5 version is usually more expensive, but I'm not sure if the visual upgrades and faster load times are really worth the extra twenty bucks for my specific setup, since I'm still playing on a 1080p TV.

On a 1080p TV the PS5 version is nicer in the cutscenes, but day to day it doesn’t feel transformative. That extra 20 bucks didn’t feel worth it for me.
