When does NMN affect HRV after taking it?
#1
I’ve been tracking my HRV for a few months now and noticed it consistently dips the morning after I take my NMN supplement, even though I feel fine. I expected the opposite, given its supposed cellular energy benefits. Has anyone else seen a similar disconnect between their subjective feeling and this specific biomarker?

I've tracked my own numbers for a while and that morning dip shows up sometimes even when I feel fine. At first I assumed it was a fluke, but it kept appearing after certain days, so I started noting sleep, caffeine, and workouts to see if anything lined up.

I tried changing timing, taking the supplement with food, and even skipping it for a week, but the same dip showed up occasionally. It makes me question whether the biomarker is reacting to something else entirely.

Could it be that the reading window or how you wake up affects the measurement more than the substance?

A few months in I got frustrated and stopped obsessing, then noticed days when I slept oddly or felt stressed and the dip was louder, so I started accepting that maybe the link isn't simple. I still keep notes but I don't pretend the cause is the supplement alone.
