When should i refresh ideas for a weekly posting schedule without burnout?

I’ve been trying to build a consistent posting schedule, but I keep hitting a wall where I just have nothing to say. How do you all come up with fresh ideas week after week without burning out or feeling like you’re just repeating yourself?

I hit the wall too. I started keeping a tiny notebook and at the end of the day I write one sentence about something I noticed or learned. Most days that becomes a post idea, sometimes it just sits there unused, but over a couple weeks I see patterns people respond to. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps me from staring at a blank screen.

I steal from my own life now: a quick post about a small misstep, a failed experiment, or a tiny win. I batch notes on Sunday and pick the best 2 ideas to draft during the week. It’s rough at first, but you learn what your audience actually cares about.

I tried prompts and templates and it still felt stiff. Some weeks I just post a photo with a caption and call it a day. The itch to always be saying something eases up when you accept not every week needs a giant story.

Do you ever feel like the real issue is energy or space to write more than you lack ideas? If you only have 30 minutes, what would you cut first to save time for drafting?
