Which short RPGs with a 20-25 hour campaign would you recommend?

I've hit a wall trying to find a new single-player RPG that actually respects my time. Every big release seems to demand a 60-hour minimum commitment just to get to the good part, and I just don't have that anymore. I'm looking for something with a tight 20-25 hour campaign that still delivers a satisfying story and progression without the endless side quest padding.

Disco Elysium clicked with me. It’s dense and text heavy, but you can push to the end in around 20 hours if you skip most of the side chatter. The payoff is the thread of the story and the character work, not weapon grind.

Voice of Cards The Isle Dragon Roars felt like a tight bite sized RPG. It clocks in around 15-20 hours, with a narrative that sticks and a lot less filler than most games in this space.

Pentiment surprised me by staying focused; I finished in maybe 12-18 hours depending on reading speed, which is short for an RPG but the story is self contained and solid.

Honestly, maybe the real problem isn't the length but expectations. Some titles that sound compact still bloat with optional stuff. If you want a straight thread of an arc with a defined end, you might end up with a shorter experience that isn't exactly what you were after. Are you after a pure narrative with fewer choices, or a compact arc with some systems to tinker with?
