Why are posts drifting from forum feedback to general discussion?

I’ve noticed a lot of new threads popping up that feel more like they belong in General Discussion or specific hobby boards, rather than here in Forum Feedback. It’s starting to make it harder to find the actual suggestions and bug reports. Has anyone else felt this drift in what gets posted?

Yeah, I’ve noticed that drift too. It used to be easy to skim for actual bug reports, but now there are threads that feel more like general chat or people asking for help with unrelated stuff.

I started tagging my own posts with bug or feature to signal what I was after, and it helped me sift through the noise a bit.

Sometimes I wonder if folks post in Feedback because the other boards look quieter or because they’re not sure where else to put a thought.

Do you think a stricter category system would help, or would that just push people to shoehorn into other boards?
