Why do I get game freezes during fast travel after the patch?

I just installed the new patch and now my game freezes completely whenever I try to fast travel. The screen locks up, the sound loops, and I have to force-close it from the task manager. Has anyone else run into this since the update? I’m not sure if it’s something with my save file or a broader problem.

Yep, same here. After the patch every time I try to fast travel the game locks up, audio loops, and I have to kill the process.

I tried a new save to see if it was save file related, and it still freezes on fast travel. I also tested with vsync off and lowered texture quality, nothing helped.

Could it be memory or shader issues rather than the travel itself?

I also noticed the freeze sometimes comes when loading from a map region. One time I just minimized the game and did something else for a minute, then reopened and it worked for a while before it came back.
