I’ve noticed that when I’m in a group chat, I almost never get a direct reply, even when I ask a clear question. My messages just get buried or ignored while the conversation flows around them. It makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong or if the dynamic of the chat just doesn’t have a place for me.

That happens to me in a big chat too. The talk moves fast and my message just sinks unless someone explicitly calls it out.

I tried tracking it once: when I asked a direct question I’d get 0–1 replies in the next hour and the rest of the convo carried on. It felt like being invisible.

Is it possible the real problem isn't me but the format of these chats? Groups are loud and people skim, and I’m never sure what actually triggers a response.

Sometimes I drift off topic and still end up ignored, other times I keep it short and it vanishes anyway. Not sure what to do next.
