Why do we keep feeding the paparazzi when celebrities look tired?

I just saw a paparazzi video of that actor from the superhero movies grabbing coffee, and he looked totally exhausted and kind of sad. It made me wonder if we’re all just contributing to that by constantly wanting more candid shots, even when they clearly don’t want to be filmed.

I used to chase every new candid clip, thinking it was casual behind the scenes, but after a few where the person looked exhausted, I slowed down. It started to feel like a price we didn’t sign up to pay.

Maybe it's not the shots themselves but the culture around paparazzi and consuming human moments as content. I keep wondering if we’re confusing sympathy with scrolling.

Could it be that the real issue isn’t the cameras but the expectation that a celebrity’s private moment is up for grabs at any time?

I pulled back for a while, stopped chasing every clip, muted a few feeds. Some days I notice I breathe easier not knowing the latest mood update.
