Why does my car pull to the right after it warms up, could it be alignment?

I’ve noticed my car pulls slightly to the right when I’m driving on a straight, level road, but only after it’s been warmed up for about twenty minutes. I’ve checked the tire pressures and they’re even, so I’m wondering if this could point to something like an alignment issue that only shows up once the suspension components are at operating temperature.

I’ve had a similar thing after a long highway drive. tires looked fine and pressures were even, but the car would drift to the right once it was warmed up. A quick check found the toe on the front right was a hair off, fixed with an alignment, and the drift vanished.

Could also be the road crown or a gust of wind catching the car, especially on a straight with no breeze on cold starts. I’d test on a few different roads before chasing the car.

I once swapped the front tires front to back to see if it followed the tires or the alignment. The pull moved with the tires, so I knew it was tire-related and not the alignment, at least for that cycle. Still kept an eye on bearings and alignment.

Not sure this is the real problem. Could be heat affecting a component differently, like a tie rod or a bushing, or maybe the car is just following the road crown. Do you park on a crown often?
