Why does my hrv dip after taking an nad+ booster?
#1
I’ve been tracking my HRV for about six months now and I’ve noticed it consistently drops the morning after I take my NAD+ booster, even though I feel fine. I expected the opposite, given it’s supposed to support cellular repair. Has anyone else seen their heart rate variability dip in response to a supplement that’s meant to be restorative?

I’ve worn the same curiosity hat here. I started a NAD+ booster a while back and noticed the mornings after taking it, my resting signals dipped a bit. It felt subtle, nothing urgent, and I kept notes for a couple weeks. Then it seemed to level out, or maybe timing changes helped, and I stopped chasing it.

Honestly I’d lean toward measurement noise or sleep quality changes rather than the supplement being a healing machine that shakes things up. I’ve had weeks where the same device gave odd readings for no obvious reason.

I tried to think through a mechanism, but I’m not convinced either way. Maybe there’s a tiny stress signal when you start something that boosts energy and your body rebalances for a bit before gains show up. Still not confident it’s the NAD+ doing the thing.

I wonder if there’s a simpler explanation first, like changes in sleep, caffeine, or something you ate the night before. Do you track sleep quality along with the mornings and the dose? If you’re asking whether the problem is the real one, I’m not sure we’re there yet.
