Why does my mesh network drop the tv connection every few hours?

My new mesh system keeps dropping the connection to my old smart TV in the living room. Everything else works fine, but the TV just loses its link every few hours and I have to reboot the main node to get it back online.

I've been there. The TV would drop offline every few hours and rebooting the main node would bring it back, only to lose it again later.

I tried lifting the main node onto a higher shelf and nudging it closer to the living room. It bought me a few extra hours, but the dropouts came back after a couple of days.

Maybe the issue isn't the network at all but the TV itself, like a firmware hiccup or an update cycle that fights with the WiFi.

With the mesh setup I moved a satellite and updated the TV firmware, and it held up a bit longer, but I wouldn’t call it solved.
