I hear you. I spent weeks grinding with a squad and then tried solo and it felt like a totally different rhythm. I actually logged my last 20 solo games and my win rate slid from the mid 50s to the low 40s. I noticed I was overthinking rotations and map pressure when I didn’t have a call train backing me up. I started a tiny post game note—first 5 minutes priority, one thing I’ll not overcommit to—and it highlighted patterns: I chased fights I didn’t have numbers for and I gave up control of the map.

Yep, same pattern here: the solo pool is messier, timing is on you, and you can’t count on teammates to sync. One night I felt like I was playing fine but we fell apart because two players wandered off. The next game I slowed down, focused on objective timing, and kept a simple call: rotate to the push, then secure the objective, and we somehow scraped a win. I even watched a clip later and noticed I ignored a red flag in early minutes that should have been a fade.

Maybe the issue isn’t your consistency so much as how you measure success. In solo queue the variance is huge, and sometimes it’s not your gameplay that’s the bottleneck but the expectations you bring from squad play. I tried to tell myself it’s a separate problem and you can’t fix it in a week, but that thought didn’t stop me from trying small adjustments.

Also I once swapped peripherals mid season and felt off for days; tiny changes compound. Not saying gear fixes mental tilt, but it reminded me how easy it is to misread a game when you’re stressed. The bigger thing I keep circling back to is whether the real problem is just luck of the draw in solo vs coordinated teams, or if I’m missing a simple cue I relied on in squad plays.
