Why does the intermediate zone on progressive lenses feel off?
#1
I just got my first pair of progressive lenses and the intermediate zone, like for my computer screen, feels completely off. I have to tilt my head at a really awkward angle to see my monitor clearly, which is giving me a stiff neck. I expected an adjustment period, but this doesn’t seem right.

I got progressive lenses last year. The intermediate zone felt off at my desk and I kept tilting my head to see the screen clearly. It was unsettling, but the neck ache was the real clue that something else was off, not just the wrong prescription.

I tried sitting a bit more upright and raised the monitor so I could look through the right part of the lens, but it still felt off most days.

I had the optician check the frame fit and alignment; they suggested adjusting the frame height or even remaking the intermediate segment. That process was slow and awkward.

Are you using them only at the monitor, or also for other tasks?
