Why is my energy so low during the day despite a consistent sleep schedule?

I’ve been trying to stick to a consistent sleep schedule for months, but my energy levels still feel completely out of whack during the day. I get my seven hours, but I’m dragging myself through the afternoon, and I can’t figure out what I’m missing in my routine.

I finally pinned a consistent sleep schedule for a few weeks, and the mornings felt decent, but the afternoon drag didn't disappear.

Maybe it is what you eat at noon or that post lunch dip. I tried swapping a heavy sandwich for something lighter and it helped a little, but not enough to fix the afternoon slump.

I bought a cheap pedometer and started a 10 minute walk after lunch, just to move around. It barely moved my energy.
