I just got the Galaxy S24 and I’m trying to figure out if my battery drain is normal. It seems to drop about 15% overnight with everything closed, which feels high, and I’m wondering if the always-on display is the main culprit here.

That can be a culprit, especially if you have Always-on Display on. Even with apps closed, the clock and notifications keep the panel faintly awake, so overnight drain can creep up.

Fifteen percent sounds high to me too, but sometimes setups or network indexing in the background can spike things the first week.

I did try turning off a couple of background things and noticed the overnight drain came down a bit, but it still wasn't tiny. It felt like something kept waking the phone.

Do you have any particular app that might be waking the device at night?
