I’ve noticed my Instagram feed feels completely dead lately, like I’m just scrolling through the same few accounts and ads. Has anyone else had their algorithm just sort of stop showing you new things from people you actually follow?

Yeah mine did that for a couple weeks last month. It kept feeding me the same five creators and a bunch of sponsored stuff, like the algorithm got stuck and stopped showing new posts from people I actually follow

I started by clearing cache and logging out and back in, and I unfollowed a bunch of accounts I never engage with. It helped for a bit, but then it settled back into the old rhythm

A different angle I noticed maybe you follow too many accounts in the same niche or the feed just favors what you already interacted with. I tried slowing down and leaving fewer likes and comments on random posts and the mix shifted a little

I tried watching a couple of longer videos from new accounts and muted a few loud ad heavy pages but it still stayed stale Do you think this is the real problem or is it something else behind the scenes?
