Why is our forum structure making discussions harder to follow?

I’m trying to figure out if the current forum structure is actually helping conversations or making them harder to follow. Sometimes I see a great post in one section that would get better feedback in another, and I’m not sure if that’s a problem with how we’re categorizing things or just how I’m using the site.

I tried flagging posts that felt misplaced and asked mods to rehome them. It helped a bit, but then the same topics drifted. I think the structure is fine in theory but traffic patterns pull things to a few hot sections.

Maybe the real issue isn't where the post lives but how people search or tag things. I find good posts sit in the wrong spot because people skim the headings.
